YouTube Premium‘s family plan is about to rise in cost. The service is now priced at $23 a month — up $5 from the previous pricing of $18, as reported earlier Thursday by 9to5Google.
You can see the new pricing on YouTube’s sign up page.
The family plan includes up to six people on the same account, and access to ad-free content.
“To continue delivering great service and features, we will be increasing your Premium family plan price from $17.99/month to $22.99/month,” YouTube told current family plan subscribers in an email published by 9to5Google. “This change will take place on your next billing cycle starting on or after November 21, 2022.”
Google didn’t immediately respond to a request for comment.
